Doug Burgoyne started FROGBOX in 2008 as an experiment in socially responsible business. In April 2009, he quit his full-time job as a strategy consultant for TELUS to grow the company. FROGBOX was named a “Top 10 Startup” by Entrepreneur magazine in 2010 and won British Columbia’s Best Green Small Business in 2011. Prior to this, Doug had a diverse career, which included running private healthcare clinics in Texas as a licensed physical therapist and working in high-tech sales and marketing in North America and Europe. He has an MBA from The University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business. Doug lives in Vancouver with his wife Celeste and son Max. He spends any free time he has mountain biking.
Matthew Corrin

While working in public relations in New York City for designer Oscar de la Renta, Corrin noted the many fresh food bars and was determined to successfully brand one. In 2005, at the age of 22, Founder and CEO Matthew Corrin, a Canadian native, opened the first Freshii location in Toronto, and won the prestigious ARC award for National Innovative Retail Concept of the Year from Cadillac Fairview Ltd and earned Freshii the title of Best New Retail Concept in Canada. Two years later, Freshii was named the 22nd Fastest Growing Company in Canada. In 2008, U.S.-based QSR Magazine dubbed Freshii "One To Watch."
Corrin was also featured in National Restaurant Hospitality magazine's 30 under 30 “Top Entrepreneurs”, was a 2008 Finalist for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). He lives between Chicago, where he launched the first U.S. Freshii location, and Toronto with his wife, two daughters, and dog. Matthew is proud to have mastered the art of a 4-hour night sleep.

Stépahne Paquet is assistant Publisher and editor in chief of Les Affaires Group. A graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science in International Relations, Stéphane also holds a Masters in Communications from l’UQAM. He was formerly at Radio-Canada then changed to print journalism in 2001 when he started working for Le Soleil in Quebec City. Two years later, he landed in the Economy section of La Presse, where he later became chief of the section. During that period, he reported a lot from and about China. He was also a lecturer at the University of Montreal.
